The Birth of Vertical Descents
Vertical Descents was born in the Highlands of Scotland. There the company has developed a well established Canyoning and White Water Rafting Centre. After six years of trading a natural progression to the ocean has seen Vertical Descents branching out and bringing coastline activities to Cornwall. Established by brothers Ben and Sam Starkie, Vertical Descents Cornwall offers the ultimate adventure for both individuals and groups. We tailor our activities to your needs. So if you are an extremist we can give you the buzz you are looking for, or if you are after something more relaxing, enjoy a unique and different perspective of the Cornish Coast.

We like to provide memory adventures that last a life time. We are an environmentally conscious company who tries to minimise the impact on the natural environment. We try not to use the same sites too often and we ensure that all of our participants understand the impact that each have on the natural surroundings when taking part in each activity.

We want every activity we supply to be a truly memorable adventure. So we spend time making sure every element of your day/weekend is of the highest standard available.
We rely on a lot of repeat business from our clients and this is down to the time and effort put in to every day/weekend we arrange.

Vertical Descents understands the importance of having as little impact on the environment as possible and holds this green policy as a working ethic. Please take the time to see how we are trying to minimize our impact and make a difference. Any suggestions and ideas to increase this are much appreciated and we will strive to make our impact as harmonious with mother nature as possible. 
We pledge to plant an apple or other fruit tree for every customer who comes to us. This is a small contribution to offset our carbon emissions and give back to the planet what we are taking from it.
