Given that people are going to go coasteering unsupervised by the experts at Vertical Descents whether we like it or not we figure we may as well give you some knowledge on the more popular sites so you can go and have fun safely and with respect to the environment, land owners and other public users.

If you are going to go Coasteering we advise that you go with a reputable company such as ourselves Vertical Descents. We also insist that you wear appropriate safety equipment such as a Full Wetsuit, Trainers, Buoyancy Aid, and a Helmet. You should always go with at least one other person and tell somebody your route and your estimated time back. You should always carry a whistle and a knife for emergency use.

Never do something your not sure about and always go with someone who knows the area.
